The Young Adults gathered for a Bible Study where they reflected on the different meanings of the term “world” in Holy Scripture, especially the contrast between:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…” (John 3:16)
and
“Do not love the world or the things in the world…” (1 John 2:15).
Together they explored approximately nineteen different uses and meanings of the word “world” throughout the Scriptures and literature. Following the study, they enjoyed fellowship and one another’s company over a light meal together.
