General Information

Marriage

St. George facility/Priest service donation (regardless of whether the wedding is held at St. George church or not):
A donation of $1,000.00 is requested.
Kindly pay online or mail a check payable to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church at least four weeks prior to the event to secure the date.
The suggested priest honorarium is $200.00 to $400.00.

Engagement

A donation of $300.00 is requested.
Kindly pay online or mail a check payable to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church at least two weeks prior to the event to secure the date.
The suggested priest honorarium is $100.00 to $200.00.

Wedding Information

A minimum of 2 months’ notice should be given in the case of a first marriage. Second and Third Marriages must receive the blessing of the Archbishop prior to the marriage. Expect 6-9 months to process the paperwork necessary for this. All marriages require four counseling sessions with the parish priest prior to the marriage. These four sessions are in addition to the initial interview.
