Under the leadership and blessing of Reverend Father Mansour Azar

Spiritual & Fellowship Activities:

• Annual Membership: Paid annual dues to AWONA
• Christmas Ladies Fellowship:
We hosted a Christmas gathering, and then we also welcomed our new Khourieh Randa Azar.

• Christmas Charity Project:
Collected essential items for a local charity, “Parent Care Family Recovery Center,” supporting their ongoing community needs.

• Christmas Gift Cards for the Elderly:
Distributed holiday gift cards to elderly members of our community, chosen discreetly in collaboration with the ladies’ society officers!

• Epiphany Feast:
Preparing and sharing fresh Awwameh with the parish following the Holy Liturgy.

Organizational Updates & Events:

• Installation Dinner (February):
Held our annual installation dinner for the elected new president, Suhair Koussa, Vice President, Sandy Battikha, Secretary, Soad Hanna and Treasurer, Eman Gantus, for the Ladies Society board 2025

• Cheesefare Sunday Event (Saj Fundraiser):
Hosted a Saj lunch fundraiser event. Part of the proceeds were donated to the National Antiochian Women’s Board (NAB) in support of their annual charity project, the Widowed Clergy Wives Fund.

Major Fundraisers & Community Support:

• Kaek & Ma’moul Fundraiser:
Our largest annual fundraiser was a great success. 310 dozen Kaek and Ma’moul were baked and sold. The proceeds support The Ladies Society throughout the year.

• Holy Week & Pascha Service:
o Decorated the Bier of Christ on Holy Friday.
o Cleaned and prepared the church for Pascha.
o Organized the Pascha Breakfast for the parish to break their Great Lent fast after the Resurrection service.
• Hosting of His Eminence Archbishop ANTHONY
We had the honor to welcome and host His Eminence during his visit to Saint George.

• Pan-Orthodox Lenten Service & Dinner:
The Ladies Society hosted a Pan-Orthodox service followed by a Lenten meal, fostering unity among local Orthodox parishes.

Ongoing Service & Hospitality:

• The Ladies Society continues to:
Faithfully serve the weekly Coffee Hour after Sunday Liturgy.
Remain available to help parishioners in times of need.
Assist the Family members of Saint George with Funeral arrangements and memorials.

We thank all the dedicated women of the Saint George Ladies Society for their love, time, and service throughout the year!
